What a wonderful day at the club. The 11s kicked it off against Green Gully with a 1-0 loss. They had many chances to score, but just could not put it away. The Under 7s played against Balmoral and went down 1-0 early before taking control and scoring 3 goals to win the match. The under 9s were the final team to play today. Keilor started off well and despite the even nature of the game took a 3-0 lead. Mid-way through the second half Heights finally put the ball in the net through an own goal and then dominated for the next 10 minutes scoring 3 more goals with the last goal coming with about 30 seconds to go. Our 9s showed great fight to win the game 4-3. Our other superstars, the parents, put in a great shift today, supporting the players well and helping out in the canteen, club rooms and setting up and packing up the field.
